What the lists agree on
Jenki is the only place named by all 8 lists. The next two, How Matcha and Tsujiri, are on 5 each.
Country & Town House names 7 of the 10 ranked places, more than any other list. Every place this guide counts from Luxury London and olive magazine is ranked. The Infatuation names the most places overall, 12, and six of them appear on no other list.
All 8 sources are media lists from 2024 to 2026. None is an award guide.
King’s Cross is the only area with two ranked places, Frothee and Matchado. The rest are spread from Ealing in the west to Hoxton and Spitalfields in the east.
The top six all have more than one London café. Each counts once as a brand, and the address shown is one branch. Some lists name a different one.
Matcha in London
Matcha is green tea from shade-grown leaves, ground to a fine powder and whisked into water or milk. What these lists say to order is mostly drinks: matcha lattes, iced and fruit versions, and two topped with cold foam. A few name food, such as Matchagato soft serve at Jenki, matcha cake at Katsute 100 and a matcha milk roll at WA Café.
Opening hours differ from branch to branch, so check the one you plan to visit.
