In Swedish a cinnamon bun is a kanelbulle and a cardamom bun a kardemummabulle, and the list counts both. Sweden has kept Kanelbullens dag, cinnamon bun day, on 4 October since 1999. Tasting Table picks the kardemummabulle with vanilla cream at Bergstrands, and Thatsup the giant kanelbulle at Café Saturnus.
